Long time friends and collaborators Tyler Lynch and Maxfield Gast have joined forces to bring a new energetic and exciting single to the Militia Hill record label. Lynch, a bassist, composer and Oregonian transplant brings the sounds of his electric bass and colorful harmony to their new single “Too Too Much.” With Gast’s experience as a producer and engineer, he dials in the sonic designs these two have concocted. Featuring public domain archival samples and live instruments mixed with electronica, “Too Too Much” takes the listener on a twisty and bending journey though texture, time and feel. Mixed with swelling soundscapes and layers of saxophones, basses and rhythmic grooves, this new single by Gast and Lynch is one to be heard!
